Courbet n°7

The Courbet n° 7 is a 3-way speaker using 3 exceptional drivers, all three manufactured in our production site in Troyes (10-Aube);

– the brand new tweeter with double decompression ,
– the Medium speaker of the Olympia one master (diapason d’or 2016),
– a very fast and very defined 17 cm “Carbon” loudspeaker; custom designed to reach a general curve close to the straight line and without any complex!

This Courbet n°7 will be able to fill large rooms with a level of definition and musicality very rarely found in a three-way speaker of this size, even at very high volume.
The perfect measurements of its little sister (Courbet N°5) have not been put aside either: a little bigger, it remains very slender and futuristic all the way.

The second big column of the range imposes itself by its balance, its speed, the density of its timbres, and a sense of swing which belongs only to it. Without a doubt, a new reference in its segment.

Davis Acoustics Courbet No. 7 Speaker Test: A Popular and Liberated Nobility

With its new Courbet series of speakers, the French brand Davis Acoustics seems to be paying more attention to design. A very slender cabinet, slightly tilted backward, and a wide base adorned with real wood are the distinctive features of its high-end model, the Courbet No. 7. Fortunately, this more aristocratic appearance hasn’t distanced it from the aspirations of the audiophile community.

“The Courbet range was an opportunity for Davis to demonstrate its ability to innovate and not just recycle old ideas.

Immediately captivated by the new aesthetic choices, I listened carefully to each of the three models.

I was instantly able to recognize what I love so much about Davis: a lot of energy in the bass, a very high level of detail, and very natural vocals.

But it didn’t stop there… the listening experience with the Courbet 7 was so immersive and natural that I forgot to focus on the details of the sound and simply let myself be carried away by the music.

This ability to create a vast, dense, and very natural soundstage (no flashy effects here!), supported by particularly well-balanced tones, makes the Courbet 7 a unique and captivating audiophile offering.”

“The vocals are conveyed with real presence, the colors of the orchestra are rendered with realism, and the dynamics, despite a fairly high listening level, are never compressed.

We are impressed by the reproduced sound image, which is truly holographic.

This demonstrates excellent work on the phase alignment of the different speakers in the Courbet No. 7. Congratulations to the development team!”
