130 RE
The IN-WALL speaker, as its name suggests, is designed to be embedded into a wall or ceiling. With minimal space requirements and a discreet design, it serves as a replacement for a more conventional speaker.
The 130 RE is easy to install; you just need to cut a rectangular hole of 180 by 265 mm. To assist you, a paper template is provided with all the speakers. Next, simply remove the protective grille using the hook provided in each package. Once the grille is removed and the speaker is wired (either by soldering or using the terminal), only a Phillips screwdriver is required. Then, just turn the 4 or 6 screws (depending on the model) so that small hooks tighten the speakers in their mounting.
In-wall speakers like the 130 RE are not intended to replace bookshelf speakers, whose enclosure volume and filter have been optimized. However, special care has been taken to ensure their sound quality: woven Kevlar fiber speaker and separate textile dome tweeter.
The intrinsic characteristics of the speakers used allow them to perform well with either a nearly infinite rear enclosure or a reduced one. Depending on the rear volume, the bass frequency level will vary.
Recommended volume: 8 to 10 liters for the 130 RE.
