MIA 40

The Mia 40 is a “bi-polar” loudspeaker model, meaning that its drivers are directed towards different planes. DAVIS ACOUSTICS chose this technique, well known to home cinema specialists, to design this surround model. The speaker is positioned at 3⁄4 the height of the room (1.80 m from the floor for a ceiling height of 2.40 m, for example).

Once seated, the listener will therefore have a ‘surround’ sound that will wander above their head, without being able to precisely determine the emitting source. It is this absence of reference points that immerses the viewer in the film or concert soundtrack, giving the impression of being immersed in the action, just like in a real cinema.

Position this speaker on the wall in a perfectly symmetrical way (either on the sides, at sofa level, or on the rear wall). The speaker is fitted with 2 wall brackets that enable it to be easily fixed to the wall using two screws.
