The ARIANE 5 floor-standing loudspeaker is the technical evolution of the MAYA model, a DAVIS Acoustics benchmark which has won several awards from the specialist press.

This latest OPUS significantly improves the listening experience, thanks to a new woofer with improved low-frequency response. The soundstage becomes wider and more realistic. High frequencies are now reproduced by a new, slim and particularly detailed tweeter.

The ARIANE 5 is thus equipped with 3 loudspeakers:

– a 16.5 cm diameter woofer, in treated and damped cellulose pulp, topped by a powerful magnetic motor. A 37 mm diameter decompressed core. For fast, authoritative bass.

– a 16.5 cm diameter midrange made of braided fiberglass. This guarantees openness and detailed, precise vocals.

– a soft dome tweeter in cellulose pulp with a 20 mm-diameter voice coil, allowing extension into the extreme treble, without ever becoming aggressive.

We recommend a distance of at least 3 meters between speakers, to obtain a very wide soundstage.

Position your speakers loosely against the wall (approx. 30cm apart).

The port at the front of the speaker ensures that the bass level remains more or less constant, whatever the position in the room.
